It’s hard to believe that it’s been one full year since Tone & Texture Aesthetics and Wellness opened its doors.
What began as a dream—to create a medspa that centered inclusion, expertise, and holistic wellness—has grown into something more meaningful than we could have imagined. And while the journey has had its fair share of late nights, tough calls, and pivots, what we feel most in this moment is gratitude.
To our clients: thank you. Whether you’ve been here since day one, told a friend about us, booked your very first appointment, or simply sent a kind word from afar—your support has meant everything. You trusted us with your skin, your wellness goals, your time, and your stories. That trust has been the foundation of everything we’ve built.

- We’ve refined the Tone & Texture experience—from the moment you book to the moment you walk out—so that every client feels seen, heard, and cared for.
- We’ve stayed true to our values: physician-led, Black-owned, rooted in results and wellness, with a deep understanding of skin of color.
But let’s be real—small business ownership isn’t always graceful. Some days, it’s a rollercoaster. There were moments we had to learn on the fly, stretch in ways we didn’t anticipate, and find balance between vision and reality. We’ve had to ride the waves, trust our gut, and stay grounded in our why.
As we step into Year Two, we’re excited to build on this foundation:

- And always… space for wellness.
